As we prepare for the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we are reminded of how blessed we are, especially when we look into the eyes of our children. The wonder, the excitement, the sheer energy that is given off of by them at Christmas time... Let's not forget the true gifts at Christmas... this little santa and his big sister are ours. We are touched by how precious they are and we hope you are too! P.S. CALLY MADE US PUT HER IN HERE TOO WITH THE ARGUMENT THAT SHE TOO IS A GIFT, AS EVIDENCED BY HER "PRESENCE" UNDER THE TREE!!!

Sunday, December 7th, 2008:

Nicole celebrated her 8th birthday on December 5th and had this pool party on 12/7. We knew it was her birthday because we ended up with a bunch of snow and bad roads just as we did last year! Many friends were unable to attend but a good time was had by all as seen above as they ham it up in front of the fireplace and in the hot-tub!

This was taken on December 5th, baby is just over 6 weeks old! Gavin wears his first outfit, dressed to suprise his sissy Nicole at school on her 8th birthday. What a thing to bring for show and tell!!

Everyone is tired from being up all night! A rare moment of silence from both off-spring is caught on camera in this once in a life time shot!!!

This sweet picture was taken when Gavin was about 4 weeks old... I told Nicole to smile and when the picture came up on the camera Gavin was smiling too!!! I can't believe it is gas... can you?

What an exciting month! Our long awaited son and brother arrived on October 22, 2008 at 5:32am weighing in at a whopping 7# 13 0z! Contractions woke his mother at around midnight. We arrived at the hospital at 1:50am and he was born a few short hours later...

THE BIG HAIRCUT.... NICOLE SHOCKED US ALL BY WANTING TO GET A BIG HAIRCUT! SHE HAD ALMOST 9 INCHES CUT OFF! IT'S LIKE SHE KNEW SHE WOULDN'T HAVE TIME TO FIX HER HAIR ONCE THE BABY CAME!!!
